The International Young Christian Workers (IYCW) is celebrating its 100th anniversary. This was an opportunity to talk to its president, herself a child of the IYCW, about the current and future challenges facing this movement, which she described as a “school of life.”

Our sisters and brothers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan are facing one of the worst floods in recent years. The devastation is heartbreaking, and currently:

  • 350 lives have been lost
  • 5,000 people are injured
  • 500 people are missing
  • 2,000 families without homes

The Young Christian Workers (YCW) of Pakistan have launched a Relief Action Plan to provide food, medicines, hygiene kits, and safe drinking water to 50 affected families for one month. They are doing all they can, on the ground. But they need our help:
